Open your first through Community Link. Once submitted, don't forget to send your initial proof of funding so the account can be activated for granting.

Why a Donor-Advised Fund
Logging In for the First Time?
On first login, create your password and complete a one-time MFA setup, including verifying your email address.
If your setup link expired or didn’t arrive, click Login, then Create/Reset Password and use the email from your DAF application—no need to call.

Already Have an Account?
You can reset your password anytime on your own. Simply click Login, then Create or Reset Password and follow the prompts.
If you haven't already, you may need to set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Enter your credentials. You'll be briefly returned to the login page.
- Check your email for a verification message and verify your account.
- Once verified, log in one more time.
- Choose your preferred MFA method: phone number or authenticator app.
- Verify your identity using the code sent to you.
Going forward, you'll see a single login button each time you sign in.
The Commonwealth Charitable Fund is a donor-advised fund (DAF) that offers increased flexibility for your charitable contributions and allows you to instill the idea of philanthropy in your family for generations to come. Generally, contributions to the Commonwealth Charitable Fund are tax deductible in the year that they are made and can help you avoid capital gains from the sale of highly appreciated assets. Also, you are able to spread charitable gift giving over a number of years.
By contributing to the Commonwealth Charitable Fund, you can name your children and grandchildren as concurrent or successor grant advisors to your DAF account. This helps encourage a sense of personal responsibility for and involvement in their world. You will empower them to learn about issues important to your family and make gifts according to these values.
With the Commonwealth Charitable Fund, you and your family are unencumbered by the time-consuming administrative responsibilities of a private foundation. You are free to devote time to explore and expand your family’s charitable mission as hands-on philanthropists.
